About Me
My passion for writing started as a young child– constantly forcing my family members to read or listen to my early stories. As I became older, my storytelling turned to journaling. I journaled to reflect and analyze the events that occurred throughout the day, conversations had, my evolving short and long term goals and anything else that came to mind. After losing my grandmother, writing became form of comfort. Writing about her made me realize that an ordinary life has frequent exceptional moments that are never brought to light and are often forgotten.
I decided I want to expand on my passion for writing by giving a voice to those whose stories often go unheard as a journalist.
I am a current Senior at the University of Missouri- Columbia studying Journalism (Strategic Communication. I will also be graduating with a minor in Business, Sociology, and have obtained a Multicultural Certificate. I am looking to continue withmy educational career by studying law.
